Just want your opinion on custom lights for falcons as i couldnt find ones i liked so i made up a set of au wagon led tail lights and hid projector headlights for both the au and ba . I can show pics but dont know how to post them

when u want to add the pics u can just click on the 'add attachments' tab below the reply box and
then below that there will be a browse box, go into your computer and find the pic u want. double click on the pic u want, then click on 'add the file' below that and once it loads u can click on the 'add inline' box below the text box and it will bring up the pic to the post otherwise if your pics are too big, setup a photobucket account and load them there, then copy and paste them here |

i agree there not for everyone. Just trying to find out what people like . With the tail lights maybe just a clear lens and colored globes . you know something different but basic. Im open to ideas

interested in the BA/BF projectors, can these be bought pre-made or do you have to put these together yourself? I have a set of HID in my headlights atm and while they dont glare too badly i obviously want a set of aftermarket projector headlights so i get a better light spread

imo i dont like how the 'angel eyes' are so small. maybe if they were bigger?

The angel eyes are built into the projector unit . But can probably ordered without and the larger led angel eyes could be fitted easily. Will check if i can source projectors without angel eyes

Do these come in the XR headlight shape, how much would a set be? Have you got them fitted and using them with a HID bulb? How do they spread onto the road?

They can be made to order for the xr8 . You can get them with or without angel eyes and you can get the projector angel eye removed and a larger set installed . The projectors are proper hid projectors just installed into the standard reflector in your headlight so they are still adjustable . let me know how you would like them set up and i will organise a price . Also i recommend leaving the single beam high as halogen but its up to you . The customer is always right

ok cool mate, well i am just after a price at the moment on the following
BF XR 8 headlight design with a larger angel eye, basically like what jvangent photoshopped. I agree with you and would only want the projector bit of the headlight for low beam, but have angle eyes on both reflectors. Are you able to give me a price on a pair? Cheers Phil

ok no problem . can get a price but first do you want genuine ford headlights or the aftermarket ones alternatively cost of a conversion of a set you have is around $ 350 where as RRR auto parts charges around the $550 mark for a set but they are reproduction lights from overseas

Thanks mate, i would want genuine headlights, i have been warned against any aftermarket headlights by my panel beater and knowing my luck i bet i would have issues. I currently have the XT headlights but i will be changing my front bar to suit XR headlights so i would need the new headlights anyways plus the projector and angel eyes bit put in.
I'm thinking its going to be too costly but ill see what price you come back with, perhaps i can source some second hand XR headlights and then let you guys put the projector and angel eyes in them.

You not wrong about the cost of genuine headlights . best i can get is between 150 and 190 dollars each . however if you can get a set and send them to me I will only charge for the cost of parts and $100 to do them for you.Or if you want like i had to do with mine get the projector set first and just do one at a time over a few weeks or so
