Well it’s been a long time coming but finally its here. This body kit is new to the market made by Roo Customs. The whole kit is carbon fiber and is reasonably cheap compared to other body kits for the EF/EL XR.

But seriously last night I was driving my EF XR6 home that I had purchased during the day. About two hours into the trip a cheeky little Kanga appeared out of nowhere and jumped straight in front of me doing 110km. There was next to no time to hit the brakes and before I knew it there was a Roo sliding down the freeway at 60km an hour over taking an elderly couple in a corolla whilst leaving an impressive blood trail behind it.
The Roo didn’t get off easily and neither did my new car!!! Here are some pictures of it… I hope they work.

P.S. Yes I am looking for a front bar but cash is an issue atm.

Yeah, my radiator is bent and there seems to be a lot of broken plastic behind the bar! It drives fine, no loss of power and the Temp is normal but ill need to get it looked at.

F**k, unlucky. Least it didn't touch that bonnet, add a few hundred more to the repair bill.

Am I the only one that thinks the EF XR front looks better than the EL XR front? 8-)

i know how you feel my fairmont was the victum of 3 kangaroos.
i recon the fairmont had a stronger front end due to the bonnet design, my fairmont hit a roo at 60km/h and you could hardly see any damage until you realy looked at the slight crease in the bonnet. my old man hit a roo in his DF LTD impact about 90km/h - got away with only a crease in the bonnet and a broken grill. he was also the whitness of another fairmont hitting a roo at 110km/h set the roo flying and only creased the bonnet and slightly damaged the bumper. a few years back a mate of mine hit one in his futura EF and set the air bag off and done some prety bad damage.

you can get these little roo whistle things and stick them on your front bar. when the car goes, it kinda warns the kangaroos to get out of the way. i have them on my car as it was a country car before i got it. might be an idea for next time
