hey guys ive just finished doing some custom stuff on my mates rodeo (yeah i know its a holden but its still cool!). i just thought i would show you and to show off a bit i guess. i welded up the tail gate, fitted a roll pan, welded up petrol filler flap and tarp hook holes. and my favourite the number plate in the tailgate. let me know what you think! i did the whole job start to finish. p.s the airbags were already done

Isn't it illegal to mount the number plate like that??
There is a fella near me with Hole-lux like that only it's black with checkaplate thru out the tray. It doesn't look to bad to most people but the cops have booked him everytime he hits the road with the rims he likes on it (20's which the cops know is way over the standard 2 inch increase.).

not sure of the legality of the plate. i put in 2 lights and angled it up slightly. but and the end of the day its not mine and it was his choice. so he will wear any fines. also the local coppers are good he just has to worry about the TOG.

was about to say...its illegal to mount it on an angle.....number plates should be level with the car...another words horizontal......so that the coppas can read it better...

really hate the number plate. other than that, looks pretty sweet. has your mate considered a paint job? anythings gotta be better than white!

was rading in a mag fast fours or something similar. they are doing a project on a rodeo. they've changed the headlights to the american market version, looks much better than the aussie ones and required very little work.

Am i the only one here that doesn't like it? It's pointless man. It's a ute that probably has a ground clearance of holy f**k. Welded the tailgate? Yet another part of the ute's functionality gone.

I'm sorry but i just think it makes the driver look like he's trying way too hard to impress, and failing miserably. The one thing i'll say for it is it hasn't got 72 inch chromies on like most of the stupid looking utes around. Really not my sort of taste, but hey if he likes it then good luck to him.
