Ok i got my rims and adaptors from tempe tyres, the adaptor goes on and screws up on the wheel lugs, but the lugs stick out from the adaptor buy 1cm! so the wheel wont sit flat on the adaptor!! DAM IT!! i need spacers dont I??? how much and where can i get them from?? can somone post up a pic of what they look like?? do i just need 1 spacer per wheel??? I heard they are illegal, if so i dont care i paid to much for these dam rims!!

about 4cms didnt have a ruler with me but the lugs stick out a 5mm to 10mm any help????

On the end of the studs there is no thread could I trim the ends off the lugs?? would that be safe??

shouldnt the ends of the studs that poke out sit in the space inside the back of the alloys?

What the hell discs are they :S
I just measured the studs on some DBA's ive got from the wreck, they are only 300mm long. Is that both front and rear?

there new rotors just normal ones for a EF falcon, got em at ABS center there not official ones from ford, but the studs are long like 5mm to long, the back of the rim is flat theres no room for the 5mm sticking out, as the rim must sit flat on the adaptor. the 5mm of left over stud is stoping the rim from sitting correctly, could i just trim up the studs where theres no thread??? refer to above pic.

i had exact same problem when i bought my wheels and adaptors from tempe, i no its not the best thign to do but i just bit the bullet and trimmed the 5 mill or watever it was off cos as u said there is no thread on there anyway, had no dramas so far u jsut got b careful when u do it

hehe yeah i ran into the same problem today. only on the back though cause i got an EF diff in mine. my fronts went on with ease though. will look into it on the weekend
