what is the difference between an ed and eb bonnet other than the grill? could i replace my damaged ed bonnet with an eb one then just change the grill to suit?

the inside of the ed bonnet is different, the strengthening panel where the latch hits is about half an inch deeper there. the ed grille can fit on eb bonnet if u use some spacers.

cheers for the info, so with the different location of the latch striker does this rule out putting an EB bonnet onto the ED. Or is there a reasonably simple way of overcoming this difference

the xr bonnet gives u an extra 20rwkw from the extra airflow.
its a recommended performance upgrade...
