I have a bonnet emblem from my wrecker car and i was wondering if i could just drill a hole into my bonnet and fit it? is there any problems assosciated with doing this? cheers

just make sure its where you want it and it does foul any part under the bonnet, but remember once you drill a hole it will be there forever (until ofcourse you want it repaired) just out of curiosity what emblem is it???

no pics im in qld for about another month just building up a to do list for when i get home :), its straight off a 89 fairlane if that helps? i also have one from an LTD aswell

Yeah Twirky is on the money, get one of those flat ones you find on an FBT or a Fairlane from the BA/BF range.

Yeah but how much are they? i already have 2 perfectly good bonnet emblems sitting at home.. I prefer the flat ones to but something tells me theyre gonna be expensive lol

the only thing i could think about is mabye some problems with the paint chipping as you go to drill the hole, or mabye the possibility of rust forming around the hole?
to be safe, i'd use a sealer after you've drilled the hole...

even if you stuff your bonnet, you can buy a 2nd hand bonnet for 100 buks
