im wondering what driving lights would fit in the front bar of an EL Fairmont.....i want it to sit where the factories go but i heard they might look funny? should i get factory driving/fog lights or should i get an aftermarket one?

Forget about puttin them in the front bar. Get like 4 or 5 big bastards and put them on your roof. Similar to how the legends in Hiluxs or WB utes with Stato fronts do...

i dun want a spot light......but blinding people on the road might be a bit interesting =D

madmax how much did u pay for a pair and were they annoying to put in?

Get aftermarket ones... I got aftermarket ones and put 'em in the middle grill thingy.
I reckon they look sweet coz they're different from what everyone else has...

yeah i like what u did.....since my front bar is stuffed anyway (the middle piece that runs across the big gap is falling off) might remove it and put a set of driving lights there =D cheers

The lights cost around $100 for the pair.
They are easy to fit, as they are mounted inside the plastic box that is there for the cornering lights.
Only real job was the modified duct covers. New each around $10. then cutting and modifing them and then getting them painted (thank god a mate of mine is a panel beater :D)
