i managed to modify an EA grill to fit on my ED falcon. as most of you know the mounting points are alot higher on EA/EB grills compared to ED's. i removed the top section of the grill that has the mounts on it, shorten the height abit and chopped it up (no longer uses the middle 10mm bolt) and refitted it with some plastic welding and some q-bond with reinforcing powder for added strength. pretty happy with it

You have done a great job and you should be quite proud of that. |

cheers mate, bit of stuff'n around but was worth it. shows what lengths il go to avoid the ugly ED grill. if this didnt work i was guna use mesh and spray it or an ED fairmont grill and cut the centre out of it

i know that this is an old thread...
but do you think the same results could be achieved on an EA falcon by using an ED bonnet? excellent job by the way. |

You wanting to debadge the front? Get an EB bonnet and the EA grille will bolt straight up to it. ED bonnet would make it much harder
