Put supers in my ea sedan a while ago now and had it on the hoist the other day and noticed that my tail shaft has been rubbing on the rear of the tunnel. It pretty much sits on the stops with a car load of mates. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Thats odd, i'm on ultras in the front, and lower than ultra in the back, and i have miles of room. Got a pic of the clearance issue?

first i would check the condition of the suspension bushes..
i had this problem with my old ea with lows when it had a full tank of fuel or accelerating hard.. (early ea has a smaller tunnel compared to the other e series).. i ended up hammering the tunnel up about 15-20mm with a huge hammer. it was a bit rough but no one could see it unless the car was on a hoist.. on another note i now have an ed with the same suspension and the shaft has plenty of room compared to the ea.. |

. Ah hah, learn something everyday. Funny the small differences that can appear in similar models.

have the same problem with my 89 ea but on koni's (don't know low code lol) since i put the evo kit through it though i don't think i have anymore dramas.
my bushes were pretty phuked out though i had a mate behind me once when crossin up across two lanes said my diff looked like it was trying to step out of my car, and christ did i know the difference when i put the evo kit through, though now in heignsite i wish i mixed rubber & nolathane because the harsh (read: pathetically neglected) roads around here are tearing ball joints out of it now as a daily driver.
