Been looking for a new drivers door for my ea sedan and found a great one down at the wreckers however i believe it's off an eb series 2 from memory.
Anyway i was wondering if i could fit this into my EA, first wether it actually fits on properly, i'm not sure if the shape was slightly changed at all between models, and secondly wether i can take the smartlock(?)/door handle section out and replace it with the good ol fashioned one from inside my EA series 1.

EA-ED door hadles are all the same. just early EA base models had different body moulds. and all early EA's had stick out locking buttons and laters had the buttons that sit flush when locked.

but being a SII door it'll have a 6" speaker not a 4" speaker. if you don't care out this just use the factory 6" speaker and put your doortrim on with the 4" hole
