Gday all,
wantin to paint the grey part of the moulding on my ed to match the body, seen it on a few eb's/ed's and it looks dam good with the silver stripe left the same. Just wondering how the moulding is attached and the best way to take it off.
If anyone here has done this also, with the grey moulding, did you sand it down a bit to make it smooth to match body?

I think the moulds might be attached using some sort of double sided tape or something. :?:

It is double sided taped to the car do not remove it, paint it on the car, light sanding is always helpful for paint to stick, and dont forget to clear coat (unless you use 2 pac of course)

Yep, mask it up, mask up your doors with paper and cover the car with an old sheet. Over spay can go anywhere.
