Hey i have 16 inch rims i think :S. maybe 15's? :S I was told they were the rims off of an XR6 though so far i havent been able to confirm it. If anyone could give me any help on identifying these rims i would be grateful:
What i would like to know about these rims as well is wat are the fattest tyres i can put on it? I've heard that they can hold up to 265/xx but i wouldn't have a clue. Also wat kind of tyres are the best? I have madisons on the front and they are awesome tyres with a wiked tread pattern IMO and i had firestone firebirds on the back which in my opinion were s**t. Only becuase they ran out of tread real fast! Maybe its becoz that is wen i first got my car and i had to test em out but yer, if you could tell me some good known brands for tyres i would appreciate it. Thanks in advance

They're not off an ED XR6, I can tell you that much....
The size will be on the tyre, won't it?

They look like the wheels off an ef/l, actually they could have been a futura style rim off of the EF/EL.

IIRC they're either 15X7 or 16X7, and either way, the widest you'd sanely want to go is about 225-235
be careful with the madisons, they're good in the dry, but suicide in the wet

They also came on ED Futuras I think as well as the EF's (or did the ED have snowflakes?)

they're 15"s. ran those on the classic and olympic classic editions of the ed and ef falcs.
the stock ef xr wheels are different to those.

I have those mags on my ED futura Classic. I think they started using them on the Last of the ED's.
I run mine on 235 Bridgestone Potenza GIII's. They are an outstanding tyre in both the wet and dry, I've never had second thoughts with them. They aren't the cheapest tyres ($160-190), but then you get what you pay for.
