i have 3 of them on my front. i didnt know what they are for but yeah to keep the stary light to a minimum makes sense.

u wont need them for the front to be fully functional anyways

almost....ED ones were a complete round rubber piece. EF/EL lights were part of the bumper so was closed over on top, hence only needing them on the underside. They were glued to the back of the grille and should have remainded there. Seems strange that Ford still make the lights and grille but stopped suppling the baffles.
