thats what I was gonna say... rubber and paint stripper? lol...

Although soft rubber will be difficult and odd to sand back, it would be best... maybe cool it down in the fridge or something and try it? to harden it?

Cheers

i have sanded it back and the sun damage has gone to the rubber also. so its got little circles all on the top :) in gunna try and get some spray putty and do a few coats of that in between sanding and see what happens.
i will bring it on sunday to the cruse and see if anyone there has any bright iseas on how to fix her up

take it to a panel shop and just ask their advice.or pick a quality one and get a price for them to do it . at least that way you know the paint will last the first wash. i think spray putty is asking for trouble.

im down there for the grand prix so i will drop in anyways
im not even sure if my cars a poly green colour i will get the paint code in the morning and see.
My paint code is L7. i dont think its poly green it seems lighter than that so if anyone can tell me the colour of the paint that will be cool

If you want, send it up to me (I'll organise the freight) and I'll see if I can take a fibreglass mould off it. If successful, I'll give you a product gratis. Is it straight?
Cheers, Bob

My last posting didn't have the banner at the bottom that said I run Canberra car Styling. Have to talk to Brad about that!
