Got a lip spoiler to put on my EB fairmont's boot. Im sure some of you have fitted them to you cars in the past. Just wondering how did u glue it down? Urethane? (Panel Beater mate told me to use this) Tape? Should I bore holes in my boot and use the bolts or cut em off and glue it on?
Any help ot thoughts would be appreciated Cheers

Hi.
Don't do what I did, and paint it before you put it on. If it is original, it is made of rubber and will flex when you bolt it up. I use the factory bolts, and some tape, however the tape did not stay stuck. Sickoflex is probably the best bet. BenJ

can get it from most car paint shops, make sure you tell them what you want to use it for, can also use windscreen urethane. think bunnings might even sell sikaflex. apply a bead across each contacting edge f&r underside of spoiler and a few zig zags inbetween then apply to boot, firmly tape on, and let to set, approx 8hour to full cure.

Well i fitted the spoiler on monday, came up ok, looks awesome form the rear but average looking across the boot. I used clamps put about 100kg of weights to keep it down, kinda worked.
Check the pics
