knucle scraping neandethrals are gay.. and people scared of change.. back in the days when the EA EB were new if you saw the proposed design for the EL XR skirt kit/bodykit you prob would of called that rice back then.. and for the millionth time..-THEY ARE NOT ALTEZZAS!! just clear versions of the original lights.. not fancy coloured orange/white/red circles with splashes of chrome..- those things make a tailight ricey..

Oi! I am halfway through a real set of Altezzas Now 8-)
for EF/EL?? like "MRE 40L" altezzas for his EF?? now there lies a challenge of bettering "MRE"s altezza job.... post up pics when done... oh and goodluck.. Who cares stockstandard.. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" -and thats not a saying for blind people either.. i think the clear tailights suit certain models and some shades of paintwork better than others.. so meh!!

I already have the clear lights on t the moment (see pic), But I think that they look too plain.
I am making proper altezzas, but I am taking my bloody sweet time at it. not sure when they will be finished.

This is what is currently on my car...

Fordfreak is passionate about his CLEAR taillights.
Personally i think they only suit white cars though i am yet to see them on different colours, though they didt look that good on a burgundy coloured car.

Man you have no style. Clear taillights do NOT go with white cars, they look ridiculous.

I have no real problem with these lights. Fact is though that the standard EF taillights are one of the best brake light sets I have ever seen, beautiful as they are.

Now up front is where the EF/ELs need help, better headlights!

These are not gay Greg. They are basically the same as the standard rear light but the plastic is all clear. Its not got circular ricey lenses like the AU and BA ones.
Just all clear at the back. I'll tell you what its a damn sight better than the stock EL ones with that dreadful yellow.

Might pop in a check them out.
Yeah, these tail-lights are better looking i think. Maybe if someone could create a stencil for them, and paint the lines black. Sort of creating a black inner border..
Would look pretty damn sharp!

yeah agreed those el tailights were a step backwards from the stock ef fairmont tailights.. and to YMONT... open up your mind a lil.. -this site is afterall called "FORDMODS"... -get it?? i do agree that if any aftermarket lights are a lil too close to rice is the AU altezzez followed by the BA/BF ones... but the person of ownership usually cops the flaming when the have altezzaz and their car is all show and no go.. but what about the ones that have the power to match the looks and the performance to dust your car?? would you be bagging them out as much?? stop being so one eyed peoples (me and timmeh not included lol)

Trust me i was in the same frame as mind as you, but changed my mind after following shoony to sydney a fair way, and looking at it alot. Pictures really do it no justice, you have to see these lights in the flesh.
