does anyone know how to dismantle the door mirrors as i can't stand how they wobble & there has to be a way to tighten them up ,even glue them in fixed position (the body not the glass)

found out how to get mirror apart , the mirror is glued to the base that is screwed to the door the glue is useless & goes rubbery over time .
Hold mirror fimly & riggle & pull away from the door, mirror will come away from the base flick all the old glue out with a screw driver clean the surface with thinners or metho use sikaflex pollyurathane to glue it back on & it is perfect ,my mirrors are solid as a rock |

Yes i did the same & they are perfect ,another thing to do is use the nozzle off a wd40 can on some tire shine & spray it in between the top & bottom section (not the bits you just glued ) then move the mirror in & out gently untill it starts to move in the lube a bit more ,the mirrors fold away like the jap ones ,ps the ones with the screw in the base are the after market ones
