Hi guys I am after pics of how you have installed fog or driving light into your Ef/El xr6/8's in particular the vent area towards the outer edge.
What lights did you use what sort of mountings and how do you control them. The more pics the better....

give crewcutmullet a pm. i saw his foggies on a cruise and they looked very very nice.
he had them mounted in the lower airvents on his mont, very neat job, looked factory.

Most driving lights with fit into those ducts with a little maneouving on a GLi/Futura bar. Ona Fairmont one you can hve hte Fairlane Cornering Lights.

What about on an xr bumper, the opening is fairly small.....

Falcon or Fairmont bar?

These I installed in my EL Fairmont a couple of years back.

Narva Compac 80 Driving lamps (mounted upside down) around $120
New bumper vents, Modified to remove centre rail. $10ea plus painting

Not sure on the legality of putting them where we did... We haven't been pulled over yet and we have had them for a few years, and they were installed by a auto eleccy, so meh.

Its my understanding that there is nothing behind the vents in a GLi bar.
Therefore you need to create a way of mounting the lights if you want to put them in there. In the fairmont there is a plastic box that the cornering lights fit in to. The lights in my EL were attached to that.

You're right there is nothing behind it and it is a small aperture that is why I was asking what others have done to save me from having to re-invent the wheel so to speak.....
