Hi guys I kinda of already know the answer but I thought I would ask anyway.

Just wondering how I go about finding a decent set of xr headlights. Everything I find is chiped, cracked or broken.

It's driving me insane!!!

Are there any good after market ones at all?

Thanks for the link mate. But I don't think they do anything to suit the xr stuff it's more aftermarket conversion for the lower models

Im suss on those twinlights, need to see them on a car in person...
Id fit the headlight protectors for ef/el xrs, they not too ugly, but damned if can find em anywhere...

The indicators/parkers are like chicken teeth too... $315 new from ford!!

The lights are just the cost of having a XR.
None of the stuff is any longer available from Ford and twin light no longer stock the replacement headlights.

Got the indicator price 1 maybe 1.5 yrs ago, from coffey ford... ?
Sometimes I think its who you speak to... Ive had 1 guy say ticky badges are nil stock, and another guy happily order me in as many as I wanted... This was a while ago though, spose things have changed.

Hi,

Before lights were plastic and made to fit / match the aero shape of cars they were standard sizes. Twin round lights were a smaller size than a single round light. Has anyone actually tried a standard light rather than the brand Ford used ? If they do fit, there are many brands available and a set of new good quality lights would be around $200.
