Personally I don't really think it suits the Fairmont "look" as such. But if you're happy, I'm happy.

Hey Concord, I would not insult the Blue Oval by attempting anything like trying to make a for look anything like a peice of GMH s**t.Ford used these bonnet vents on XB, GT-GS and if anything General Motors s**t was trying to make there poxy Monaro wanna be look like an XB/XC Coupe. And yes I do like it otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I know this work is not to every ones taste but do not insult a dedicated Ford man by saying his ride is a Monaro wanna be. Have some class.

does that make the monarro an xb gt wannabe?? na i dont think the ef is drawing any inspiration from a holden... if anything, i think it gets the inspiration from the xb gt which i like... so two thumbs up for the hard work and thought in doing this job... certainly stands out from the xr scoop brigade..

Thanks Dog Boy. So far the cost is $20.00 for the Red Bonnet and $5.00 for the Mulberry Bonnet, $48.00 for the MIG Welder Hire (4 Hours) and $30.00 for the gasless MIG wire. Also about $40.00 for cutting wheels, grinding wheels, tape etc. All up about $140.00 so far, but the big big costs are to come with the TIG Welding and finishing etc.
