Did you do the design yourself or have someone draw up the plans for it?

Goes well with the EL XR bumper.

Well Dog Boy I have to admit the original idea is not mine. I got the idea from an EF XR wagon photo that is on EFFalcon's web site. My thanks to his site. Also the idea for the BA side skirts, the idea which I borrowed and improved upon, not stole, LOL. When I saw the bonnet in the photo I decided that it looked great and would look even better on a Fairmont (My opinion) and said to myself what the hell, give it a go. I then tracked down the XB Bonnets, EBay, and then studied the job, just took it from there. all the work so far is mine and if I could lay my hands on a TIG I would probably do it myself but these are not so easy to get hold of so I will need to pay to get it done. Finishing and painting will be mine. I you like something and think it can be done give it a go but remember, measure twice (or 10) cut once. It is amazing what we can achieve when we set our minds to it.

Finished most of the prep work for the exterior of the bonnet, just need a couple of spots of spot putty and then spray putty. Do the inside of the bonnet next week and finalise the outside ready for paint. Couple more picks of up to date work.
