Well guys... My body kit has FINALLY arrived. It seems like it's all going to fit up alright. And I've decided to fit the whole lot. May as well. Sadly, with goddamn school work and my job I don't think I'm going to get around to fitting and painting it until school holiday♠. Besides I still need to finish up my stereo with all my new gear. That's a lot smaller job
Here's a few pics of all the bits and pieces minus the side skirts and door moulds... The pics were taken in bad light and I accidentally had the camera on the wrong setting... Front bar... For some reason he sent me the front bar without the grill attached... He reckons that's what you need for a Futura... we'll see I guess... Rear bar... Rear wing... I like the look of this now Bonnet scoop... Seperate grill...

Yeh... It's different. Shouldn't be too hard to fit the wing to your car hey? Pity I'm keeping it now... I like it... Looks tuff. I'm gonna have fun fitting it all... Just went through Hyena's thread again and wish I was already finished...

Have a look at the EA GTO kit on my website. Wing is the EL GT altered to suit EA-ED. Members' price $337.50. Cheers, Bob

Boot spoilers imo are a pain in the a*** to fit. Did the boot spoiler come with a fitting kit? They defintely make it easier to line up the holes. I guess another way is to attatch those small round foam things with adhesive on both sides onto the holes on the boot spoiler, then lower it and press onto the boot how you want it, then pull it off hopefully leaving the adhesive round things on the boot, giving you an idea where to drill. Dont forget to run a bead of silicone around all holes when fitting it. |

The kit came with the absolute bare essentials. No fitting kit, only bolts and nuts on the bottom of the wing. I'm sure I'll figure out some way of doing it. I've already got a standard spoiler so I guess I can use the existing holes left by that as a reference for the new holes.

make templets of the base of the ends of the wings that bolt down using cardboard and you cant go far wrong

Don't laugh... Have a guess at how my front bumper is ahlf held on at the moment after I took it off to fit my last body kit...
I was lazy and figured it didn't really matter seemings I was getting this kit soon anyway...

I'll take some when I fit the new one... My front bar is held on by 4 bolts and 16 tek screws at the moment dodgeyness at it's best ...
When I trial fitted my old kit I was left with all these nuts and bolts but had forgotten where they all went

Haha... very true
I just got off the phone to Peter Haines who I bought the kit off of and he's going to send out the correct front bar at no cost to me and pay for the return postage of the wrong one. Good bloke, very friendly, highly recommend him. Turns out he saw an EF Futura that had had it's front converted to a Fairmont front and thought that's what Futuras' had as standard so, on hearing that I had a Futura he sent me out a Fairmont front
