guys the problem i see with doing this is that to give props to the GT name then i would really have to go the V8 route but this is what i came up with in the last few days a car that takes its internal inspiration from the F6 Typhoon and its exterior cues from the GT what do you guys think. i was thinking the front and rear millenium kit from ASV and modifying it to be sort of BA GTish ie Driving lights big air dam, and i like the way that it has a second grille betwwen the front spoiler and the bonnet paint it in white with both GT and Cobra stripes. get the exterior right and a few years down the track start on the internals i dont want to go overboard but i do want to make it live up to the stripes.

Is it an exact copy of the GT kit, does it have the wheel arch flares?

Well the good thing is your young....
so you have plenty of time to do all this...
careful planning will save you lots of money in the long run.

Personally... I'd go motor and driveline first...
but for insurance reasons at your age I can
see why you would start with the body

My only recommendations are that the lower SIDE stripes should look Good ... imo anyway (see below)
Image

BUT I'm not so sure that ANOTHER set of stripes over the top of the car
RE: Cobra .... would suit as well....

I guess you could say its going a little overboard

The rest of your plan sounds good to me :D

I used to be a pro at usng the photo shop but i cough *stole the program from school* cough lol, then my computer had to be reformatted some time after i installed it now ive got no more adobe.

That will teach me... dont worry thou i retuned it after i used it

Ne way back to the point, i was interested in doing the whole GT stripes too but that would mean then i have to get rid of the red strips paint it white then put blue GT strips on...Too much work involved

as for rims i want the BA GT copys on mine :P

unfortunatley it is only a small picture but if you go to this site
http://magshop.com.au/Product.asp?ProductID=2286 the picture of the july back issue has a BA in similar stripes i think that the reason why it looks good is because the stripes are on two different planes so therefore they don't really take it over the top imo only though btw thanks for understanding insurance is a b**ch to insure a dead stock falcon on my own is 1900 bucks which is bullsh*t but i do understand what you mean about it being too much though but with only the GT stripes the front view appears to let down the side view imo again

According to the guy at advanced spoilers
It has everything apart from the grille.
(which is annoying as the grille is the part i want!)

(flares, bonnet scoop, front bar, rear bar, side skirts, spoiler)

I was a bit off with the price though....More like $2450 apparently :(
