What is the difference between Fairmont etc and GLI/Futura? these headlights arent interchangable? is the polycarb lense off a Gli one, able to be fitted to a Fairmont headlight?

The fairmont ones are pointier so they probably wouldn't fit - although they're not THAT much longer (ie pointier) so if you removed the rubber bits that usually go between the headlights and the EF bar they MIGHT squeeze in. Alternatively if you fit a fairmont bar with an EF bonnet they'll fit, but there'll be a gap (Mark from It's Performance has this)

Coz I have a custom front bar with no grille (at the moment) so I could fit fairmont ones or gli ones.

Looking at the fairmont lights though, it looks like highbeam refector is alot shorter with the angle they've cut it at - you'd think they wouldn't be as bright as the glis and futuras...

why don't you modify your bar to accept a fairmont bonnet hyena?
that would look pretty cool

I could bolt a fairmont bonnet straight on - finding one may be an issue though...

Aside from that, I've just repaired, sprayed and fitted a standard one (with EL GT scoop)
