You've done a really nice job on that bar, but I hate to say it, I don't think it works with the grill, the grill looks really classy but the bar looks really aggressive. It all looks a little out of sync to me, maybe if the grill was white and you lost the little mont statue on the bonnet, but as it is I can't say I'm a fan.

Very nice work though, and as was said earlier, each to his own.

Cheers.

Looks good. How are you going to fix the bow in it under the grill?

I think the bar conversion looks good. I do agree that you need to integrate it styling-wise to the Fairmont front.

Once the bar is painted white, perhaps you could plastic chrome the lower insert in the GT bar to match the existing front end chromework?

Mike

I'll explain it a little more clearly. Bruce, click 'new topic' to create a new thread with your question. 'Reply' adds a response within the thread you are browsing.

It's cool, everyone has to learn sometime! Incidentally, writing with CAPS LOCK on is considered shouting on internet forums i.e. not polite.

Hope this helps, Mike

theres some sort of notch on the top of tha tough plastic "impact bar" thats making it distort like that we've found.. so when the bumper gets pulled off to get painted the crash bar will be modified/chopped to fix that...

i might end up going back to the standard ef fairmont grill in white of course.. it will blend in so much nicer... the el ghia chrome grill doesnt go too well with the gt bar.. not too much to worry about though..
