looks the goods but what about undertray to the front bar???
ef/el like alot of air flow to the radiator??
does the air just go straight under the car or directed to the radiator??

Does need the undertray as you call it fitted. I refitted mine when I did my bar and helps heaps. the great thing is there is more flow to the radiator with these bars than with the original Fairmont bars. Still need the Air Tunnel/undertray to direct air in and up.

im going to install a tray underneath to direct more air flow directly through tje cores.. as the new bumper sits a lil lower than the stock bar ad atm air passes through the bar but continues underneath the car..

mesh will be ordered eventualy.. clutch replacement is my no 1 priority atm...

data mine alerted me to the fact AWC sell the FPV lower grill mesh for $88 brand new.. beats the other prices for the same on ebay by $100+.... so after my car goes into crescent motorsport for a new clutch and fire wall repair i will then look at ordering the grill... and update pics will be posted...

Count yourself lucky I found that. Genuine FPV prices are down right horrifing. The little bit of mesh in my rear bar (trade price) is over $750.

obtaining mesh and spotlights is taking longer than it actualy took to design/cut/shut/bog/sand/prime/paint and fit the bar...

and DATA MINE.. my eyes water at the thought of the genuine pieces to fix your front end on that "off track adventure you had".... if only you baught and was racing in a Turbo territory you wouldnt have scraped /snow plowed throuh the drainage ditch...

How hard was it to get the cutting right??? Thats my biggest worry as the fiberglassing and bogging end of it i got down pat. Did u cut it big and file it down to size????

I'm with gryph... I was wondering how you got the cut so good. The pics you took make it look as though you got it perfect first time

i will explain it bettr shortly but i just basically laid electrical tape to make a nice straight line to trace around the horizontal curves of the bumper... its the green tape you can see in the pics early in the thread/build....
