no kiddding!! lame joke but soo very close to the truth..

s**t t5 experience ever...

every gear was a 20kg strain to get it into gear... would hesitantly go into gear applying 20 kg of pressure onto the gear lever pushing in the desired direction to select a certain gear.. and 3rd/reverse crunched something fierce.. -wished i had an auto for a while there.. is an absolute dream to drive now... dyno day here i come!

yer autos are easy to drive and you dont need to worry about the clutch f**k up but at the same time autos are boring and i want a manual.

gotta find a way of rigging up a cold air intake co-inciding with the windage tray... and the tray will be sprayed black as not to attract attention....

the tray actually does not provide added air to the radiator guys it is to direct air along underneath the cae without too much turbulence, the grille and lower airdam of the bumper is for airflow. have a look underneath any BA and you will see the undertray reaches back past the radiator and attaches to the crossmember.

as for the spotlights i have a pair... but they are going in my EF/BA XR bar so no sharing here. Was fortunate enough to get a BA XR bar that had one of the legs that the grille fits in snapped off, and all i need is the bottom half so it worked out well for me.

just hope it turns out looking this good. the joining and cutting will be a bit iffy but im sure i can sort it out.

it does if its not there.
air goes in front airdamn and straight under the car.
so having it does provide added air to the rad compared to not having it.
my car was heating up a lot when i didnt have it in, as soon as i put the tray back in it was back to normal.

AU trays fit too.

know what you mean.. my car runs too hot when not at speeds over 60-70 km/h... needle sits towards the "o" and "R" on the word "normal"... on the heat guage...

Bunter, check your thermostat, if it's not working properly (stuck open for example) your engine will never run at normal temp and you'll be wasting fuel/power.
