Ithink you should make it look as much like the gt bars. EG: Same colour grey on the grill and around the lamps and put in an fpv grill an lamps:D then it will look real nice and pro

hey mate did you just run the gt bar into the rebate where the el bumper strip goes (if that makes sence??)
im doing an ef-ba xr convers but im finding there is a bit of a step down from the ef to the ba where it joins.. how did you get around this?

yes, thats correct it overlaps the bumper strip recess... and yes... is a slight "step down".. -how ever i see it as a "Character line" so im cool with it staying.. good luck on your conversion mate... start a thrwead and post pics and info..

Hey fordfreak ef, That's some excellent work there, finished product is gonna be sweet.
By doing this mod, will it give you much extra space between the radiator and the inside of the front bar?

Hey you photoshop guys, would any of you been interested in putting the el xr upper bumper and headlights on those earlier pics just for a bit of fun. I'd be quite keen to see how the bf gt lower bar could look with it.

cheers,
Jason.

Fordfreak, where are you Rebar mounts, did you cut them off when you cut the Fairmont bar? I can't see them in your latest pics. They are behind the original number plate Section.

Good Luck, I had enough trouble mounting my rebar when I left the mounts on. Needed to reshape the rebar as was.
