I was just curious on, if you could use an au outer dot handle in an ef/el.

the whole thing is different, the au handle is recessed into the door, ef mounts on the outside..

Will fit, will just need to make custom mounting inside the door, and a custom opening rod thing... It is alotta messing around... But will make exterior look neater..

If you go though BenJ's Wagon thread, He has done one door in there...

I used a donor handle section cut out of an AU door, and had it welded into the E Series Door. Then I had to modify the AU handle as the E Series glass hit the back of the handle mechanism, customise the link between the AU Handle and the lock, and I don't think a lock can be used on the drivers door as it will foul on the glass.
