The front bar is one piece. So the whole front needs changing.

I think you might need to change the bonnet too? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If you can get someone to plastic weld the bottom half or fibreglas it if it doesnt crack you can use a fairmont bottom bar if you really wanted to.
The ef gli/futura/xr bonnet is the same as a xr6/xr8 bonnet found on el's .. so no need to change bonnet. |

whats the difference between Fairmont/Fairlane and Falcon (XR, GLi, Futura) bottom? I thought the only difference was the shape of the brake ducts? Because the rest must be the same as the same front skirt will fit onto both won't it? |

Have a look at the front of a fairlane or fairmont
they have a big air dam with a splitter in the middle and also cornering lamp provisions

As stated the GLi/Futura/XR bottom half is the same. Fairmonts/Fairlanes are different due to the grill and the cornering lamps as Nick said. GLi/Futura/XR bonnets fit straight on with XR fronts but a Fairmont/Fairlane doing XR front will need a GLi/Futura/XR bonnet. |
