yeh I agree, if its a 6 then he cant put a twin 2.5" exhaust on, so if he wants 2 modify his so he splits its up to him, i think it looks alright and if he wants to do it to HIS car, who r u xb-coupe 2 call him a tosser? people should be able to come on here, ask a question and get an answer, not abuse

Been quoted to get another hole cut for the left hand side exhaust would only cost $150, I dont know how long the job would take, a few hours maybe, so I wouldn't assume it would be a bit much work to fill the hole :)

Just the post I been looking for, im another big fan of the quad tip look. Though a few places keep telling me its impossible, but nothing is impossible when it comes to cars.
I have actually taken a proper look under my car, so dont shoot me just yet, but is it not possible to split the exhaust into a why just before the fuel tank and then run the pipe down the side?

I have just ordered the Xr50/TS50 kit from AWC last night, its on hold until I decide wether or not to get the extra exhaust hole cut. Going to see the place I got my exhaust done about splitting it into 2 pipes, just to see what he can suggest or recommend.

The look I wanted, edited in Paint shop pro

Last time I was there, there was an EL falcon with the 4 holes in the rear bumper super v8 car kit I think, could've sworn he had 2 pipes poking out, on both sides.

I wanted dual pipes on my EL but when i looked under one at work, found the fuel tank in the way. The only way it could be done would probably put in a drop tank in the middle and have the spare just sitting in the boot instead of the well.

The photos of my car are exactly how the car sits..

Yes the Tint is dark 5% (s**t light in the photo so it looks way to dark though)

Yes it sits that low (its now lower at the front 8-) )

heres a better pic of the rear of the car showing the exhausts

Image

will have new pics of the car up soon.. (few tiny cosmetic mods)

Any questions about any of it.. Please dont hesitate to ask..

It is not RTA compliant no...

so i can be defected and my insurance can be refused..

But have been in situations for both and nothing was said..

Its a big risk, but if u do the right thing on the road, u wont be targeted by police..

Is the rear end of the BA that much different to the AU and EL/EF, other then being much flatter then the AU boot. Yet the BA has enough room to have a quad pipe setup at the bumper?
