Hi,

I need to do some repainting on my EFII futura, build date 12/95 but i am unsure of the colour. It is the bright red (not cardinal), paint code R, yet the code doesn't seem to match anything when i ask ford. I know that at the start of the EF run le mans red was used, and by the EL it was hot chilli red. Hopefully someone here knows when the tranistion was made.

they have a little book thingy, that matches cars - year - code
and gives you what colour it is

there was a thread that listed all ford colour codes n what they were for ea-au i think.
Have a search, see what u can find.
