ok this ones for adrian, after much f@rt around, maby too much i have finally after 3 attempts completed my door handle conversion from ghey black to stylish cardinal red el ones :D everyone admire my work , lol and yea thanks adrian for these they came up a treat hey ;)

yea i realised that afterwards, so back one was no go, ran out of time, attempt one ... attempt 2, completed both front ones then ran out of time, attempt 3, did both back ones, and upon re assembling, i did them both, then realised i forgot to re connect the unlocking rod in one of them and screamed so loud :D altho im well trained in removing trims now so re connecting it was a piece of piss :P so now all done :D oh and painting them was fun they were origionally regency red, its like 5 shades lighter, so ghey cos they had a really nice finish, it felt bad to destroy it, but hey now they look good :D

Looks good mate, good work. Now all you need is change your side mirrors to ef/el ones, they look a bit out of place with the new handles :)

lol thanks leroy but no thanks i am quite pleased with the el shape, even if it does mean i can only get into my car from one side, damn non smartlock cars .... lol :P and yea was thinkin about doin an ef/l mirror conversion, its definatly on the cards

you don't have smartlock. lol if i where you i would have gone EF ones but each to there own :wink:

nah i didnt want ef ones cos of the lock on the passanger side, i constantly see the reminance of attempted theft on that side lock, my solution, no lock, no attempt :D

I'll be doing this soon too.
Looks nice.
I'll be getting EL Mirrors as well.
I'll have to fix my passenger door lock.
ATM it only locks with the key, the rod to the actuator is broken :x
