If you can afford it, go out and buy yourself a deep socket set. They come in handy in many cases. If not you can always just buy the one socket at super cheap for $5.00 or something.

Nice work dude!! I reckon it looks great with the black background, but thats my opinion. In the end, the only thing that matters is what you think

thanks mate, i am leaning towards the black background 2, coz i think its too much overkill with the same paint as the rest of the car as a background. thanks buddy

Looks good.

I've got a grill on my desk that I have done the exact same thing to (cut out the mounts for the black inserts)
I was planning on paiting the bonnet behind the grill black and not having any mesh, just open.
It's been sitting on my desk for a long long time though, I keep getting distracted by other projects.

thanks guys, yeah i was thinking of painting the bonnet bhind the grille black 2. Teeroy i got the mesh from supercheap, $30, it was $25 at repco but i had a voucher i had 2 use so i jus went to super cheap. I probably used a bit less than half of the mesh on that tho. Worth it in the end for sure tho
