Done a search and nothing really came up in regards to where about to pick these up from. Seen modded ones, rear bar and grille seem easy as to pick up but chasing the guard flares, skirts and front bumper seem to be impossible. I seem to recall a while back someone mentioning that someone in the eastern states was making these kits up, as far as i know they were exact replicas? Anyone have any contact details from this guy? seems the only way is to go to ford and order one in. Do you have to prove that you own a gt? seems kind of wank how you can make rep ba gt's eb gt's etc etc if anyone has some info then that would be greatly appreciated ^^

Cheers

nope, you cant get the bits, iirc ford have the moulds for it under lock and key! so you'd have to know someone with a genuine gt to get ya the bits

Tocchi they're not even close.
The sideskirts and rear bar are XR ones. The wing, well I have no idea what that wing is but it's not GT, the front bar is a mixture of a gt mould with xr lights and grill, the flutes are XR and I think even the bonnet scoop is wrong.

Yah thats what i thought. Well im guessing if i could get a hold of someone generous enough to help me out, if they own an el gt then all i would really need is the front bar, fogger assembly, side skirts and guard flares. Even though this could prove costly its just the fact that this is the only kit that i like. Maybe i could offer someone an incentive to help me out :p And yer soz buddy but those kits arent what im after but thanks anyways for searching for me ^^

maybe jus maybe if we ask 347 really really nicely he might just help us out....^^ hahaha its worth a try. Otherwise I know the guy that owns "yeahbaby" so he "MIGHT" be able to help us out. I know a mate who can do up mouldings but needs the kit first, maybe we can go halves as the kit from ford is kinda pricey so ive heard, then he can make us up extras?

oh and even tho i would love 1 of these kits i would hate the kit to turn in to the new best thing to do.

how gay would it be to see every second car drive past with a gt kit.

to clear things up with the purchasing of genuine gt stuff ect it is only the fpv range that have the rule you must own an fpv to aqquire body componets such as bars skirts wings but not wheels they are not under this rule as for e series gts (eb and el) they are a tickford item and such rules do not apply you can still purchase genuine body componets as i work for ford and to enjoy the look of the el gt and my mother in law onws one (number 195 ) as she is the mum of a couple members on here but thats beside the point what im sayin is the you must own one to get parts only applies to the fpv ford performance vehicles range hope this clears up some grey areas and kizzzer your right the grill alone is worth close to $1200 so keep searchin awcinfo dose a little bit(scoop wing ect) so good luck on the bars skirts and flares and if you find flares can you let me know i want to get my hands on some :D

yeah i really don't think you should do it to be honest.
although i'm not the biggest el gt fan, i really don't like mockups - do we want EL GT to be the next big thing, VS clubbie style?

IIRC parts peddler have some kits listed every month, and a good copy.
I just bought the second last ELGT grille and third last bonnet vent from Ford last week, so if you want one, better get to fFord real quick.
I can send some pics if you PM me your email addy.

Not real keen on getting a mould off the car, as I just got it back from the painters last week, its like NEW again...
