just wondering what these are worth these days. im after a set of copies in silver. the only difference with these is that the rear rims are 8"s instead of 8.5" on authentic yea?

Yes the copies are only 8inch, I've seen some around $1300 or so with tyres.

yeh about that sorta price, think i bought mine for about $950 (rims only) a while back

Yes, the orginal genuines command quite a few extra $$$ to make a sale.

They were about $3k with crappy rubber when you could buy them from dealers.

All the rims are the same size whether they are front and back!!! And yes, 8" for styles and 8.5" for originals.

I had styles before I bought originals and brand new I paid $1250 from The Tyre Factory

There's a couple of differences from the originals to the styles. The styles have thinner spokes and aren't as deep, the styles have a silver tickford wing centre cap whereas the originals are a champagne ford centre cap, and the face of the rim is more dished on the originals than the styles. A trained eye will definately pick them but a lot of people have trouble. Definately a nice rim though

There were a set on eBay just recently, Brand New Genuine in boxes, they had a Buy it Now price of like $995. They didn't last long, what a bargain!
