Is the front bar on an EL XR one piece or two pieces? I've just dropped my car at the paint and panel place and they reckon its two pieces but I'm pretty sure its one piece.

They are going to charge extra for top bit where the headlights are to repaint if its seperate or if its one piece it wont cost extra.

Anyone got a pic of one off and a picture from behind it to see any joins etc?

This is kinda urgent so I can call them up and tell them its one piece if it is.

Cheers

Was it a genuine Ford one Bob or was it fibreglass?

it is actually two bits top and bottom plastic welded together - but that shouldn't make a difference when it is getting sprayed - it is effectively a one peice from then on!

Cool.
I've shot an email off to them to see their take on it.

I also may not of asked them to paint the top bit originally (from the red stripe up). I hope I did though.

I'll see how it goes.

Cheers

out of interest - how much are they charging you to spray just the bottom half?

I'm not sure. I'm getting a few things done and the total cost is $900. I'm getting some dings taken out and two spots of rust the front bumper repaired and panited.

I'll let you know when I pick it up because I'll have an itemised receipt.
