Hi Guys,
I've bought my old mans '91 30th anniversary EA II Fairmont off him which still has it's stock 14" 6JJ wheels & 215/65 tyres on. Does anyone know if I can just put 16" EL XR6/XR8 wheels with 225/50 tyres straight on without any troubles ? Thanks Ant |

no probs mate as long as the wheel is from any falcon earlier than AU it will fit

Wasn't sure if the width required any suspension changes as I read these wheels were only fitted with sports suspension options.(Not sure why). Ant. |

suspension option was standard fitment on all xr', and only xr's got those as an option.
But just for proof the width isn't an issue in anyway, s pacs etc, had 7" rims with standard suspension.
