I am in the process of getting a mould made from my BA Bulged Fairmont bonnet. I am looking to get some interest in how many i would be able to sell. They will be about 1000-1400 each. These will be made from either Fibreglass or Carbon Fibre, so i am looking to see how many people would be interested in getting one made. I will need to sell aproximately 10-15 for this project to break even. I am not here to make a tonne of cash, but would need firm orders for this project to proceed. Unfortunately for those that run the XR front end, this will be more suited to the High Series bonnets ie Fairmont/Fairlane

If you're going to spend that sort of money on the bonnet, get a fairmont from bar (under $200 brand new from ford) and a set of second hand fairmont lights :)

TerroristGHIA: how you go about moulding the Fibreglass to the bonnet,

it will eventually crack and come off. but how did you do it!

Well, i didnt do it. Firstly, the glass was glues and screwed to the bonnet, then a layer of diller was attached and smoothed to allow a clean look, then it was rubbed, highfilled, allowed to sink back, rubbed again, sprayed, then buffed. The glue used is the same stuff BMW and VW use to attach body panels on their new vehicles. The Bonnet i am lookming at getting done now are either Carbon Firbe or Fibre Glass replicas taken from the mould of my current bonnet. These will not come off, as they will be one peice
