Thanks very interested for my ef fairmont just bought the car and can't see a dam thing at night time...
Please let me know when you will be available. These cars are really dangerous they should have been recalled.. |

Butyl rubber is what the standard headlights use, but alone it is probably not enough to hold the lens on without clips. I've found another butyl rubber that sets harder and requires a little more temperature to release. Another option is windscreen adhesive. |

These will be primarily to facilitate the possibility of retrofitting projectors into the headlight. If your lenses are very faded and discoloured, you can get them restored by a professional, or you can buy a kit yourself. There is also a how-to on this forum under the resources link. |

Weird question which no-one could probably answer, but why didn't Ford do that originally to the EF/L NF/L series? It wasn't until the AUI that they went to clear lens' right? So by making them clear like that and with just a normal H4 fitted globe, does it effect the projection or beam at all? Is it brighter because I bought a pair of headlights a while back to replace the originals and they're still crap lol... What's the point of the inside markings on the lens? |

FAIRV8: If you used these lens on the standard headlight the light output will not be as good. The lines on the inside of the lens are there to correctly focus and spread the light from the globe.
This is the output with no lens at all. teeroy: When I get the new clear lenses up and going, I might be interested in doing complete headlights if people are willing to pay for it. Otherwise, I'll just stick to supplying the necessary items for people to do it themselves. The price for a pair of EF/EL headlights retrofitted with BiXenon projectors would be about $700. Included in this is projectors, bulbs, ballasts, shrouds of your choice, new lenses, and all wiring done for true plug'n'play (excluding demon eye wiring). The only thing you would need to do is mount the ballasts somewhere. |
