Heh. thanks for the reply Disco Frank
Good to see someone still has a sense of humour on a Saturday night Just for the record though - I don't speed - I just love the prospect of thwarting the technology that is usually just a revenue raiser.

i actually like that idea though about the frosted glass, would probobly cost a mint to set up but i still like it, very smart thinking. Now you just have to make it work then sell me one

I couldn't even find a website about the glass on the net. They had it in a bathroom at a restaurant i went to recently, you walk in shut the door and think "Riiight..... I'm supposed to crap in front of everyone now??" Then you lock the door and all you see is silhouette

one of my uni lectures had some film stuff that work on exactly the same princinpal as the fronsted glass, they make it in ballarat at tech park, you could rig something up with LCD technology also, but the cost of doing it would be worth 2-3 speeding fines anyway

i think there is this reflective paint stuff that you can paint onto the number plate and when the camera hits you BAMMM all they see in the photo is white.
My friend had an R1 adn he was doing like over 120km/h on Anzac Highway and there was a camera and hes like ohhhh F**k, so he chucked it down a gear and lifted the front end up and no speeding fine. LOL

a mate of mine had it on his bike. it was a cover on his number plate and there was a little switch on his handle bars that would make it look like an lcd screen. was pretty cool and only a couple hundred bucks

how about just sneaking up on the camera car, having someone destract the driver, take his plates, go back up the road, put em on your car, then do a few 150+km/h passes.
And to all saying they dont speed, especially you southy, are u tellin me that u bought a manual 6, put a stage 3 crow cam in it, extractors and all the rest and your telling me that you never EVER speed? come on

or instead of going to all that truoble why dont you go to ebay in america and buy one of those spray cans that apply a thin reflective coating of polymer or something over your plate but you can only notice it if you look up real close.

LOL according to serg. paul friend from s.a. police who is on adelaide radio that paint is a scam,s.a. police have tested this paint and it actually improves the reflective charateristics of the no. plate when photographed,so they don't care if you use it and no steps have been taken to ban this product unlike placing a small plastic strip between one of the letters on the plate which when photographed cuts out 1 or 2 letters from being seen on the angle thus no fine but this is illegal

I followed a car one day and its plate had a plastic number plate cover that was lazer cut at any angle than straight on you couldnt read the plate.
50% of the cameras in NSW dont work due to not enough money ( they havent bought enough cameras for all locations)or software problems . I have been flashed at the one at Kurrajong Heights 6 times and never recived a ticket. The cameras are put in the wrong locations if they put more police on the road it would make us all slow down.

its been done, released in QLD quite a few years ago in most major outlets, then removed from shelves a few months later, it was a prismed plastic shield so that when the flash went off all you got was glare, deemed illegal, cant work out why

problem arises there, for QLD and WA anyway, you see burning aint the solution when theres a copper sitting there with the camera,
