how loud can an exhast be and how would you be able to test it at home without taking it to some one :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

yes 90db for cars built after '85

hmm, you could buy one of those sound measuring divices from jaycar. think they're a bit pricey though.

why you want to test it, been d**k for being to loud?

But cant ur local exhaust shop do it for you?
When you get your exhaust fitted just tell them to check it.

its not my car its my father inlaws car i have been told its to loud and want to get it tested but he wont let me drive it becouse he said its a turbo and im only on my p's, he claims thats its not, im undecided?

Is it just me or does that not make scene. Anyway u can drive a turbo, just don't do anything stupid with it just drive it like a normal car and you will be right.

Passenger Vehicles built before 1 November 1983 96dB, After 1 November 1983 90dB
