well, just an update - new tip has been ordered!
going twin 3" tips, stainless steel, with rolled edges - designed to fit nice & snug inside the EF exhaust opening. will line up nicely with the existing bumper line. the tips are setting me back ~$115, and will be fitted, in theory, next sat morning. no angle or anything - just straight thru. won't change the note at all either, which i'm happy about!
