Does anybody know where i could find a pair of side steps for an 03 xlt explorer ? These are extremely hard to come by, and i refuse to pay over $1300 for them from Ford. Melbourne area. Thanks

Apparently it is cheaper to obtain the parts from America then Ford Australia for some reason.

I suggest ebay, auto trader like websites that deal in car parts.. Or see a wrecker that has either pinncle or a hotline to track down some for you. OR go to TJM or ARB or Oppisote lock for aftermarket brands.

there is a guy on eBay that has genuine ones.

I bought a set last month for $880 from ford, complete kit including Rivnuts.

Thanks for the replies! I did buy a set from ebay at a great price, but the courier lost them ! 2 metre 34 kilo package lost ! Could only find one after market and they looked ordinary. Been trawling the wreckers for a good set but havent even been able to lay eyes on any at all ! Amazing how elusive these things are. :(
