I've seen this done before, on a Silver NF/L Fairlane,
I think its from another forum, but I do remember I liked it heaps.

How would I go about either making these up, or buying them?

Cheers,

Apparently you have to make them out of Fibreglass.

Buy a set of headlght lens covers trim down to the size and shape you want and pant the inside of them with your choice of colour and then give them about 4 coats of clear .

alternatively, mask the area and just spray same color of the car.. the effect is exactly the same...
Granted, it's ghetto.

Sounds like a good idea, although, how do you mount them to the headlights?
Or are they top mounted?

Most headlight covers have a clip that goes over the top of the original lens so they should be an easy fit

Cool, I just posted a "Want to Buy" thread, so I hope something pops up.
Cheers,

If you are going to cut up some headlight covers, I think you will find that it will be easier to get EF GLi covers and then trim them down. They won't fit Fairmont headlights as a complete unit but shiuld if they are trimmed. Also you will find them easier to get hold of and cheaper.
