Hey guys,

Do any of you know if the F6 Tornado 19" Dark Argent wheels will fit straight onto an AU series 1?

Also how much should I expect to pay for them? I'd prefer genuine ford rims over knockoffs but depending on the quality I may consider knockoffs.

Otherwise can anyone suggest something similar, I would like something dark and I'm really in the market for either 5, 7 or at most 9 spokes but I like lean looking open wheels (if that makes sense?).

example: http://www.bsawheels.com.au/users/ProductDetail.aspx?id=285

If anyone knows where I can find "good quality" wheels that match this description can you please let me know I've been searching all day but really have not had much luck.

Cheers!

they'll fit but genuines have a different offset on the rear due to the brakes. Just make sure you get all 4 the same offset. Iirc you need a set of 4 front rims.

You won't get 19" ford wheels with tyres for that price i promise you, you'd be looking maybe 4k for those factory wheels with tyres.

Thanks guys, I'll look into the genuine thing if they look like blowing the budget (I'd say they will) then I'll keep searching for something else.

Cheers!

you cant buy them from factory without paint code, vin number and the name of who owns the car. they are an fpv rim and ford wanted them to stay rare. i dont know if you can get them aftermarket yet but you wont find genuien ones unless u go to a wrecker. but yes front will fit bolt up, rear will need adaptors due to different brakes on the fpv, or u can just use the fpv diff, disc to disc :D

I contacted BSA about those wheels, unfortunately they only come in 17".

I really think 19" suits the falcon better, 17 looks good but its not really the look I'm going for.

Cheers.

True, sorry I got my links confused, I am considering the wheels you linked to over the FPV wheels, I think the FPV's are going to be well out of my price range.

Theres an XR8 ute in my street with these in 19":

They look really good but only come in white, would it be hard to repaint them?

Cheers!

ned kelly, i have them in shadow chrome on my AUII with the chrome dish. Looks pretty good. A guy on ford forums apparantly ordered a set in black in 18". Try ringing tempe, they might do them in black now. Would be worth a shot because they're such a nice rim.
In saying that, after seeing them on this car i kinda prefer the shadow chrome.
