with a bit of shortening (cutting) this is what ive fitted so far and intend on fitting shortly.. hence my lookout for fairlane mirrors in the "Wanted" forum....

good work, looks nice. I've always wondered about those, ill be interested to see how the rear quarter trims fit once shortened, IIRC the fairlanes have a longer quarter window yeah?

fairlanes were based on the lwb like the wagons, so akaik the doors are the same as wagons

i was under the impression that from the front of the car to the rear doors were the same as SWB, then from the C pillar back are different?

EDIT: Just compared a couple of side pictures and you right mitch, front doors are SWB and from the rear doors back are LWB.

-lol too easy... just need a saw and 1 min time to saw through it.. :lol: need the fairlane mirrors to do the tops of the windows... will post pics up definatly when done.. tried to find the mirrors today to no avail...

theyre not that hard to find.. and because they dont fit straight up to falcon futura fairmont theyre not a popular mod..

lol i meant the smaller window on the rear door, so that the chrome does a complete 'loop' like on the 'lanes :P

now that my friend is quiet a job in itself.. :lol: i cant even attempt that until i put the top chrome skirts on the front and rear doors.. -but to do that i need white fairlane power mirrors... :?
