Hi

I bought the replacement antenna and plastic teeth strap
to repair my snapped off antenna

but.. how the hell is it fitted?

I still have the bottom of the original antenna sticking out of the fender with the rubber seal around the base.

The intructions say to remove this and feed the strap in and turn on the ignotion and radio etc to feed the strap through.

But i cant see how to REMOVE the old part.

its ok ,
i got the info from another ford forum.

Just a matter of taking off the black lug on the fender , undoing the retainer screw then pulling the antenna straight up & out.

too simple

now i have my power antenna back again instead of the bend remnants
