hey guys,
My first car (the xf) has recently been offered back to me after i gave it to a friend when it ran out of reg. It is one of the straightest xf's getting round and it is the perfect grounds for a project, being clean anything and having good sentamental value being my first car. Anyway, it has got my thinking recently about an xd or xe front. And if im going to do it, i may aswell go with fibre glass right? Eventually it will be treated to either an e series I6 running gear, or a v8 setup of some sort. But right now i would like to get this front off, which in turn will make it easier to pull the old crossflow out and the auto. my question is... What is involved in putting another front of this thing, and should i go fibreglass? Its around the same price right? And its a heap lighter. paint does not worry me, i just love the look of the old xe and xd front ends. And the xf a*** end looks the part to. Thanks guys
