well you may have noticed in my gallary or when ever i have posted my car up for any reason there was some s**t on it :) then again you may not have noticed due to bad photo quality, good old camera phone, did my car more justice than it deserved, basically i tried to respray my bonnet one day as there was a bit of fading, WHAT A MISTAKE! lost all the glossy shine and all :( thought it would cost about $1000 or so to fix, tried fixing it myself with clear coat etc, actually made it worse! so i just gave up on it, also, something you wouldnt have noticed as i made sure i never took photos of it so ya cant see it :) but 2 months after i got the car i dinted the right side of my car, the whole gaurd was dinted...

ANYWAYS! enough about that! back to the solution! found a really cheap spray painter, and bought a second hand right side gaurd, paid $120 for the gaurd, and the spray painter charged me $200 to spray the second hand gaurd and bonnet for me :) i wasnt sure on the quality of the job cause it was so cheap! but it came out mint! i left him my fuel cap and the bonnet and the second hand gaurd so he could match the colours :)

5 days of driving with a white bonnet i picked up the beautifully sprayed bonnet and guard, spent 2 hours last night removing the original f**k out :) and half an hour putting the new one on :) heres a pic with it off :) and with the white bonnet, when i get a digital camera, i'll post up a pic of the bonnet so you can see the great job :) So all up $320 to fix it all, glad i did it myself, probably saved $1500 :)

Oh and while i was pulling it apart, there was a tube connected to the end of the battery... dunno wtf that was for LOL! cause it fell off :) Didnt look important anyways :)

That tube you spoke about with your battery sounds like your battery breather vent. I suggest you should find it and put it back in

haha yeah i think if i cleaned the white bonnet up a bit, and it actually fitted, it would have looked a bit mean, but seeing as it wasnt mine, and i wasnt going to mod anything to accommadate for it just for 5 days, well it didnt look that great cause it was sticking up about an inch on the sides... as for the ricer stuff, OK FINE IM A RICER HAHAHAH! i will get pics as soon as i get my camera, shouldnt be too much longer, but would you all agree, $200 for respraying two different panels is pretty good aye?
